About Us
Our 9 acre original Swedish farmstead built in 1904 is located in the Scandia farming community of Poulsbo Washington. We are across from the historical and well know Scandia Patch. Our multigenerational farm raises Romney Sheep, Kinder Goats, Gloucester Old Spot Pigs, American Guinea Hogs, heritage turkeys, chickens and ducks and a Jersey milk cow. . We currently sell lamb, eggs and wool products along with limited number of weaner pigs, lambs and goat kids. We have a vision for raising most of our own food and ask our livestock to pay their own way by providing us with extra eggs, meat and stock that we can share with our neighbors.
We raise animals we want to feed our own family that are both good for us and delicious. We enjoy watching the life cycle of the farm, and enjoy sharing the experience and the results with our neighbors. Our sheep are grass fed and rotationally grazed. Our poultry are free range. We supplement with alfalfa from Eastern Washington and Oregon along with local brewery mash for pigs and poultry. Non GMO feed, no pesticides, no hormones, antibiotics are used only when absolutely necessary and not put into the food supply.
