About Us
The Grainery is an organic family farm, stone mill and bakery— growing and milling heritage and modern landrace grains that are selected and bred for flavor, nutrition and local climate resilience. We farm in the fertile Chimacum Valley, on Chemakum and S’Kllalam lands, surrounded by a vibrant agricultural community and within an interdependent ecosystem of fields, forests and salmon streams.
We’re glad and grateful to grow food for our regional resilience, in a mycelial network of relationships, and we’re excited to be part of a growing number of smaller-scale, community-based grain mills producing fresh-milled and nutrient-dense flours.
