Twisted Strait Fibers is a cooperative of natural fiber farmers on a mission to preserve an agricultural way of life in the Pacific Northwest. Twisted Strait farmers pool resources and work together to provide our community with a reasonably priced option for sustainably sourced fiber products. Twisted Strait’s first retail product is Earth Woolies, which are made from locally obtained waste wool not graded for yarn, and are a 100% organic product that mitigates the ecological impact of soil conditioning. All Earth Woolies sales help the coop reach its goal of purchasing equipment to mill natural fibers and build sustainability for fiber processing in our region.
